Through their Together Making Changes platform, Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) donated $4,018.54 to Footprints On My Heart. Gina Tremain of TMC presented the check to Raynna Hammon, founder and president, and Lydia Sulecki, treasurer on Feb. 17.
TMC of Homosassa provides physical, occupational and speech therapy services for patients in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing, continuing care retirement communities, assisted living facilities, independent living facilities and outpatient settings.
TMC has been providing therapy services for more than 25 years in 18 states, 200-plus locations with more than 3,000 team members. TMC exists to make a positive difference in the lives of everyone they serve. Giving of time, talent and treasures is a TMC core value and Together Making Changes serves as their platform of giving back to others in need.
Together Making Changes was created in 2012, precisely for this purpose. A 501(c)(3) organization, it provides assistance to various initiatives supported by TMC team members, residents and patients. Efforts focus on promoting positive health, education, spiritual and financial outcomes for the people, organizations and communities they serve. The funds that TMC raises come directly from team members employees, family members, neighbors and community partners who donate and fundraise to support their giving back platform.
Together Making Changes distributes 50 percent of annual funds raised to a national nonprofit organization, selected annually by team members. The remaining 50 percent is distributed to organizations selected by each state and/or departments.

The United Way of Citrus County awarded Footprints On My Heart a grant in the amount $3500 in September 2021.
Footprints On My Heart, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping parents and their families who experience, miscarriage, still birth, or neonatal loss. FOMH was founded by Raynna and Donald Hammon after the loss of their son, Jaxon Thomas, on January 24, 2019. Families who experience pregnancy loss currently have limited support in Citrus County since neither of the local hospitals have neonatal intensive care units and therefore, the associated support and services for pregnancy loss. The key component of the bereavement care is providing the Flexmort CuddleCot™ on the day of assistance.
This grant allows FOMH to purchase their third Flexmort CuddleCot™. The CuddleCot is a cooling bassinet that allows families to spend extra time with their baby, by regulating the infant's temperature. Numerous studies and anecdotal findings have shown the use of the CuddleCot helps the families cope with their loss.
During the extended time with their baby, FOMH works with the families with memory making opportunities. These may include a theme associated with the baby, photography, making hand or footprints, and any ideas proposed by the family. FOMH provides peer support and contact information for grief counselors and grief doulas.
